Today we pushed it to the live system for CS:GO. You are now able to create an own mappool for your mapban Lobby. It won’t be saved and if you need to create more as one Lobby you will need to do it serveral times, but it’s a first step in the right direction.

This Feature was made possible thanks to the first implementation of the API. We needed to recreate the way our system handled Maps and Mappools, so we directly created it in a way which will allow us a high flexibility in future.

The Last few days I was using our own API to help some Admins and I realised that there are situations where you want to create more as one lobby. This is why I added the possibility to create multiple Lobbies with one Call. As this Feature could be used to flood our Database with Lobbies we needed to implement different limits to our API.

We also added the possibility to send some optional data for creating the Lobby. Thanks to this you can diretcly send the wanted settings, voteoder and teamnames.

I should really start to write more in this Blog… The Last few days I was using our own API to help some Admins and I realised that there are situations where you want to create more as one lobby.
The Last few weeks me and Nozo worked on the API and API Documentations. Or let’s say, I tried to work on it but needed Nozo to correct me a lot!
We nearly finished the first Release of the API, I’m just waiting for a list of things I did wrong from nozo to hopfully get his approval soon.

I will keep you updated as soon as we release the first Beta Version of the API.

Hello, this is our first Post in this DEV Blog for Mapban.
